So, you have been working a regular old boring 9-5 job and now you want to change the stars and jump into the world of freelance design. Well let me tell you from experience, that its not as easy as it sounds. Working on your own can be the toughest most rewarding experience of your life. Before you start you need all your ammo ready to take on anything a client throws at you. Here are some of the tools that I have found very useful for day to day activities while running a successful freelance design company.
1) Box.net

Toggl suits both individuals and teams. It is used by anyone selling hours: freelancers, design agencies, law offices, developers.
3. 123 Vectors
If you’re like me and use Adobe Illustrator all the time that you will find this site really useful. You can download tons of free vectors to help compliment your designs. If your not a vector fan than you could always use this site for design inspiration.
4. What the Font
Seen a font in use and want to know what it is? Submit an image to WhatTheFont to find the closest matches in their database.
If you ever loose your creative mind in the middle of a project and get stumped on what colors to use, than check out this site. You can create a free account and browse a massive gallery of colors that work well with each other.
